I find that installing new software is very haphazard and disorganized, but finding and using stuff that's already installed is extremely well-organized. It's good in gnome and fantastic in KDE. Much better, in fact, than Windows.
You say "in fact" like you're the designated software expert for everyone in the world. The OP doesn't think it's organized. You think it is. Both are opinions. The difference? You're masquerading yours opinion as a fact when it's not.
